Princess launches the first of a new class of yacht, the Princess S72 S Class Sportbridge yacht. The Company also launches the Princess 68, the most advanced Princess flybridge yacht to date. Two incredibly popular models undergo an upgrade – the latest Princess 60 now featuring more space and style while the V39 is now offered with an aft sunpad option.

Two Flybridge yachts enjoy awards success. The Princess 43 wins in the Flybridge up to 55ft category at the Motor Boat Awards and the 56 is named ‘Best Imported Large Yacht’ at the Boat of the Year Japan awards.

Princess place 107 in the Sunday Times Top Track 250 – the Company’s highest rank to date.

The Princess 52, 82 Motor Yacht and 88 Motor Yacht are launched. The Company also launches its first yacht with IPS drive, the Princess V48.

The first 40M, Imperial Princess, wins a World Superyacht Award in the ‘Three Deck Semi-Displacement or Planing Motor Yachts’ category and is also named ‘Best Production Motor Yacht (24m to 40m)’ at the 9th annual Asia Boating Awards. Another M Class yacht also celebrates success, with the 32M winning ‘Best Production Motor Yacht 30m Class’ at the Hurun Report’s annual Best of the Best Awards.

The V Class range also enjoys another successful year. A Princess claims the title of best ‘Sportscruiser up to 45ft’ at the Motor Boat of the Year Awards for the second year running with the award going to the V39. The Princess V52 is also named ‘Best Imported Large Yacht’ and overall ‘Boat of the Year Japan 2012’.

The Company is awarded ‘Large Business of the Year’ at the Herald Business Awards 2013 and ‘Best Brand Collection’ at the Helm Singapore Yacht Show Awards.

A landmark year for the brand which saw the launches of the smallest craft produced by the Company in over a decade, the second generation Princess V39, and the largest vessel the company has ever built, the Princess 40M. The 40M, a 132-foot superyacht, also makes history as the biggest composite motor yacht ever to be built in Britain. The Princess V52 is awarded best ‘Sportscruiser over 45ft’ and co-founder of Princess Yachts, David King, receives the Judges’ Special Award at the Motor Boat of the Year Awards 2012. The V39 is also awarded ‘Best Import Motoryacht 30-40ft’ in the US at the AIM Media Marine Group Editor’s Choice Award 2012. Also launched in 2012 are the Princess V57, Princess 56 and V62-S.

Princess launch the first model from their M Class range at London Boat Show, the Princess 32M and three further models during the year.
Princess acquire the freehold from the MOD for South Yard and win financial backing from the Government’s Regional Growth Fund (RGF) for a major investment in the site.
Princess awarded the British Standard of OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management systems.
Princess become the first significant British boat builder to achieve the RINA Green Plus (Y) notation for their entire range of V Class and Flybridge yachts up to 24m (85 feet).

Princess becomes the first major European motor yacht manufacturer to be awarded ISO14001 in recognition of achievements in reducing the affect on the environment.

Five new models are launched including the 72 Motor Yacht and V85-S.

Princess rise 37 places in the Sunday Times HSBC Top Track 250.
